Get Benefits from Different types of Flanges

Pipes, valves, pumps, and other components can all be joined together to create a piping system using flange. It is also easy to get to for maintenance purposes like cleaning, checking, or tweaking. There are numerous different kinds of flanges offered by lap joint flanges manufacturers, including:

Quick-Attach Flange

Slide the flange over the pipe & weld it in place at the top and bottom. They are employed to prevent leakage and provide the connection adequate strength. Since this flange and copper nickel pipe fittingsdoes not require the same level of precision when shaping the pipe into desired lengths as welded neck flanges, it is more popular.
False Flanges

There is no bore in this flange. A blanking flange is a type of flange that is utilized to fix or cover the end of a pipe frame, or to block off the entrance to a pipe system or a vessel. Speeding up and simplifying access to vessel or pipe structure inspections. A blind flange can be given with or without a hub, depending on the situation.

Flanges for Lap Joints

Identical to slip-on flanges, Lap-Joint Flanges have a radius at the bore/flange face junction to accommodate the leading edge of the lap stub. The end of the stub forms the gasket face on the flange. When a section of a pipe system needs to be removed quickly and easily for maintenance or repair, this flange is a common choice.
Plug-and-Socket Flanges

Comparable to the design slip-on duplex flanges, but with a recessed bore to accommodate the pipe. The remaining bore's diameter matches that of the shaft's interior. Flanges are joined to pipes via fillet soldering around the flange's center hub. In high-strain situations, interval welding is a viable option. Its most typical applications are high-pressure systems like steam and hydraulic pipelines.
Flanges with Threads

Threaded Flanges are structurally like slip-on flanges, but their bore is threaded for simpler assembly without welding. This clearlylimits its application to comparatively lower pressure piping systems. It is possible to increase its usefulness by welding the SS 316L Flanges around the connection after installation, but this is not recommended.
Flanges With Weld-Necks

Weld-Neck SS 304L Flangesare attached to a pipe by welding the flange's neck to the pipe. It's not cheap, but it's perfect for high tension uses because that lengthy neck reinforces the flange. Vibration and wear are reduced since the flange bore is same to the shaft bore.
Flanges with a Groove and a Tongue

Consistent coupling between the groove flange and the tongue flange. There is a raised ring on the face of the tongue flange. A raised ring (also called a tongue) is machined into one flange, while a depressed groove is machined into the other. These two flanges need to be an exact fit for one another.

Standardized tongue-and-groove patterns can be seen on small and large scales alike. Valve covers and pump lids are the most common applications for them.
